Hockey Instructor & Assistant Positions
Lead the Game
SRN is seeking energetic, knowledgeable Hockey Instructors to lead youth ball-hockey clinics across Long Island. You'll deliver our structured "SRN Script" curriculum, focusing on skill development, confidence building, and creating an unforgettable experience for young athletes.
Each clinic runs 4 sessions at 1 hour per week, with an Assistant Instructor for every 7 players to maintain quality instruction and safety. This part-time, seasonal role offers competitive hourly rates plus opportunities to grow within the SRN network.
Support & Grow
Assistant Instructors play a vital role in our clinics, working directly with small groups of players during skill stations, rotations, and individual corrections. This position is perfect for developing coaches, former players, or young professionals looking to break into youth sports instruction.
You'll gain hands-on experience with SRN's proven coaching philosophy while helping keep players engaged, safe, and focused. Strong pathway to Lead Instructor roles and additional training opportunities within SRN's expanding programs.

  • Manage group dynamics with positive reinforcement
  • Coordinate with assistants during drills and transitions
Assistant Instructor Role
  • Support lead instructor with demonstrations and small-group work
  • Set up equipment: cones, nets, dividers
  • Provide encouragement and sportsmanship reinforcement
  • Step in to lead portions when needed
